Cindy Ellis,

PT, President

Cynthia Ellis Witherspoon, PT, founded Ellis Physical Therapy Associates, Inc. in May of 1984. She has served as whole owner and President of the company since incorporating.
Ms. Ellis Witherspoon is a 1975 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She has served on the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners since 1990 and served as chair from 1996-2006.

Adrianne Coleman, PT, DPT

Adrianne obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Utica College in upstate NY and received her doctorate in physical therapy, graduating with honors. She began working for Ellis PT and has since obtained her orthopedic manual therapy certification from the Medical University of South Carolina. Presently she is certified in Dry Needling for both upper and lower extremities from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Adrianne is the clinic director. She enjoys working with a variety of diagnosis and age groups to help them achieve improved function. She enjoys spending time with her family, husband, pets, regular strength training and yoga.

Katie Bailey,

PT, DPT

Katie obtained her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University and received her doctorate in physical therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She enjoys working with people of all ages and getting them back to doing what they love. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cycling and weight training, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Amy Boland

Amy is a native of South Carolina. She has over 15 years of medical experience. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and animals.

Chris Commisso

Chris obtained his bachelor’s with a major in Exercise Science and minor in Psychology from the University of South Carolina, and has five years of experience in personal training and a decade of training himself. Originally gaining his passion for strength training and physical therapy from multiple neck and shoulder issues causing him to have rehabilitation himself. He loves connecting with others, being a part of a community, and seeing others improve. His main hobbies are training, cooking, and reading.
